Kaleidoscope

Home : Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is a ground-up initiative helmed by Kim Choo Kueh Chang,
artisanal home-baker A Mother’s Love and budding mother-daughter painting
team, Anna’s Delight.

The idea of the community effort was born during Singapore’s circuit-breaker
period when many felt the severe results of the global pandemic, but none as
much as many of its more vulnerable sectors: special-needs children,
persons suffering from mental wellness challenges, the elderly, single parents
and low-income families.

The stakeholders hope to make a small difference to these groups through
training, outreach and events.

The name “Kaleidoscope” was chosen as the ground-up initiative hope to
bring light where there is darkness, hope where there is fear.

The 1st initiative by Kaleidoscope was a 2-week long baking program
preceding the Mooncake Festival held in the Culinary Studio of Kim Choo
Kueh Chang. The 1st week had special needs youths and their caregivers
while the 2nd week benefitted persons with mental wellness challenges. The
workshops were very well-received and Kaleidoscope hopes to make a
difference, one program at a time.

This X’mas season, Kaleidoscope is blessed to receive the love and support
of Lil’ Brushes, a talented pair of siblings possessed with a passion for
painting, Zach and Sara Edwards.

This year-end, a series of limited-edition masks and mask-holders are
specially produced in time for the X’mas and festive gift-giving season. The
masks feature 6 different artworks by the talented siblings. 2 designs each
aimed to please ladies, men and children were specially created for
Kaleidoscope.

Net sale proceeds will benefit Kaleidoscope’s future programs, outreach and
events.
