WHAT IS LIL’ BRUSHES?
Lil’ Brushes is the brainchild of Singaporean siblings, Zach and Sara Edwards (with a bit of help from Mummy and Daddy). Zach and Sara have always been encouraged to help others in the community, and they came up with the idea of combining their love of painting, with helping people less fortunate than themselves.
WHO DOES LIL’ BRUSHES HELP?
For their first project, Lil’ Brushes donated 100% of their profits ($2,587.36) to The Very Special Choir, a Singapore-based Choir which comprises of children with special needs like Autism, Downs Syndrome, Global Development Delay, ADHD, etc.
For their second project, Lil’ Brushes donated 100% of their profits of $981.68 to Kaleidoscope and $5,149.70 to Causes for Animals (Singapore) Limited.
For their third project, Lil’ Brushes donated 100% of their profits of $8,207.47 to Children’s Cancer Foundation.
For their fourth project, Lil’ Brushes donated 100% of their profits of $11,323.25 to Singapore Cheshire Home.
WHAT ARE SOME OF LIL’ BRUSHES’ PROJECTS?
Project #1: In Feb 2020, Lil’ Brushes chose 8 of their hand-painted designs to be printed onto notebook covers, and with the support of friends, family and a generous public, they managed to sell out 2 print runs of 480 notebooks in total.
Project #2: For their second project, Lil’ Brushes produced 6 new hand-painted designs which were printed onto reusable Facemasks, and a total of 510 Facemasks were sold.
Project #3: For their third project, Lil’ Brushes printed 4 hand-painted designs onto reusable tote bags and a total of 400 tote bags were sold.
Project #4: For their fourth project, Lil’ Brushes printed 4 hand-painted designs onto foldable shopping bags and a total of 400 shopping bags were sold.
